A indicator on any posts that we have posted on similar to what was on the baylorfans site would be useful.

It would be nice to PM a non-premium member. I see the Premium option, but not the non

DC Bear, if you have posted, it will be in your watchlist. Free members will have the watchlist by the end of the next week, they say. I'm not sure of this being new, but I think when you look at the thread list, the shade of gray of unread posts indicates you have posted in there. And also, if blue, it was a reply quoting your post.

Red X for ETBU to delete a thread. And also noticed that the ability to edit or delete a thread is not available for free accounts. Can that be added to all accounts at least any account registered by the end of August in the BF transition?

A verified tag for certain users so that we can more easily identify them. People like Jason Cook and jkbt should have their posts stick out more, but don't need a green staff flag.

Thanks for al the suggestions!

We will work with you guys to get things added. As you know we have a lot going on right now. I am working on a design document with things in it and will turn that over to the rest of the sicem365 team to review.

You may ask what will happen with Baylorfans.com. Well Baylorfans will end up being moved to a test sever environment for testing purposes. This will also allow the sicem365 and F5 team to be able to see how some of the modifications worked. Also we are in the process of moving all of the posts to the test sever so the F5 team will be able to start bringing over a threshold of posts. We have a ton on our plate so know that we are working with you but some of these special modifications will take a little time to get implemented.

I dont think its necessary to bring all those posts over anymore. From a personal standpoint, I've moved on. Fresh start, fresh legs.

I had some of the longer threads - near 35k posts and just under a million views on the Cowboy thread, but we've got a new one started and its moving just fine.

That's a good point but some have sent me emails asking about a Baylorfans archive. I know they will try for the last two weeks and slowly go from there.

So far my only complaint is that when I click on a thread I previously read it doesn't take me to the first unread post like it did on BFans. It is a waste of time to have to maneuver to the right spot to resume reading. Am I missing something?

Once you get the watchlist next week, that problem will be lessened. Also, you can hit the down arrow on top right on mobile and it will take you to the bottom of a thread without scrolling

The problem occurs some times when I cut and paste and accidentally backspace over the hidden text that says "BU84BEAR said".

At least it's hidden text for me.

Like look at the above. I tried to reduce the quote down to just what I am referencing. But somehow the attribution got weird. Somehow it deleted the "alpoCory" but not the V. and somehow it now thinks I said it instead of you. When I click edit, I don't see a "V" or a "BU84BEAR"
BU84BEAR
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Ok, I can't explain that. I was just trying to offer a temporary alternative.

Did you try to cut/copy directly from the thread or from a post after you selected "quote" and are in the editor?

Another aspect of BaylorFans that I loved was that not only was the thread starter listed, but the most recent thread poster name was listed on the right.

I could quickly see if my or some other post was the most recent on a thread I was participating in, or if it was some new poster.

Thank you.

Are you able to click here? Dark gray means there are new posts, blue means someone replied to you directly, green means mods have posted. It takes me to first unread post.

BTW, great to see you here GB.

Trumpetbear, I havent yet picked up a pattern, but it seems some of the light gray number of posts change on some threads without turning dark. Does that mean anything or have I misperceived that even happening. I havent focused on a particular thread looking for that so I am not sure it happens.

I believe that if a light gray box has increased its number that it is a topic you haven't viewed yet.

Also, check the screen shots above. All the topics with a green bar on the left are unviewed.

Oh cool, I never noticed that before. It will help a lot.

On the right side of the topic hover over "Last: 8h" and the tooltip will tel you who the last poster was. Clicking that link will take you to last post.

On mobile it is listed on the gray bar underneath the topic. You can click that gray bar to go to the last post.

Ashley, are we able to edit thread titles now? Just started a thread on the premium board and noticed I could edit the title on it but not on old threads. Would have been nice to be able to do that on the countdown thread.

Unless it has changed in the last few days, you can change a thread title as long as no one else has posted in the thread. I am not sure if you can if YOU are the only one who has posted in it after your OP..

1.) Notifications - At bf.com had no way to tell if your comments or posts were responded to. I'm seeing the same thing here at 365. You have to go to the thread and dig through to see if someone has responded or quoted you.

If you could build a notification system, that would be super helpful!

2.) We want Rep! It lets the user know how he or she is received, if they are trustworthy and it just makes you feel good!

I used to get notices all the time from baylorfans that a thread I had commented in had a new comment.

but I agree that would be awesome here as well.

I am not an admin but I can answer number 1.

If someone responds to a thread you have posted in the binocular icon in the top right will turn blue. You can hover over it to see a list of threads you are "watching". In that list, if there is a gray square it just means that someone has posted in the thread. If there is a blue square it means someone has directly replied to or quoted one your posts.

I do not see a binocular icon anywhere on my screen. Where exactly is this supposed to be?

I didn't know when I posted this that watch list was a premium-only feature. The admins have said that this functionality is rolling out to all members this week.

Is there a way we could get a preview of a thread when we hover over it like Bfans had?

What about multi quote? I mentioned it when the site first launched but I think it got lost in the heap.

So on BF there was a multi quote button on each post, it was essentially a checkbox. If a user wanted to include quotes from multiple posts in their reply, they could go and "check" all the posts they wanted included, then when they opened the reply text editor all of those selected posts would already be formatted and included in the body of their post.

Here it could look something like this. Notice the extra icon on the right:

So if I selected those two posts in the image, then clicked "Post Reply" or one of the reply options on each post (reply to or quote). When my reply box came up it would look like this:

Multi quote was handy when you had a ton of quotes in a thread. Plucking two or more out gave your answer more relativity
