This is most dominant defensive basketball game I have ever seen. I was amazed that at 4 minutes left and only 40 something points, there was no doubt we were going to win.

Man Baylor neutralizes Timme in the Championship game and now Gillespie! Great job Baylor!
We have such a good coaching staff and players who listen and buy into what the coaches are saying and then are able to execute

In the 1985 final Villanova set an NCAA record shooting 78% from the field to beat Georgetown.

Combine their shooting from that game with today, and they would still be shooting only 43%.
What a difference a century makes.

I was really interested in how this game went after last year. Nova had all the incentive going for them, but this team just shook it out and responded well in the 2nd half. The 1st half was owned by both defenses. This team needs to settle down a bit, but their athleticism may be better than last years.

Cryer, Flagler and Mayer should be the O focal point. Got to believe Mayer will snap out of it soon....just too much talent. I've said all along JTT is an All-American next year.

This game proves to me that BU can beat anybody in the country. That was the feeling I wanted to come away with and I do.

Assuming we get by Oregon that NYD game in Hilton will put two 12-0 teams against each other

#2 offense by .1 per the above.

Everyone played really well defensively. MM has improved immensely and I'm thrilled with how Flo has been able to cover so much ground and guard ball handlers without fouling.

Would love to hear from someone who was in the arena about the crowd size and atmosphere.

I hate hearing a crowd chant the words overrated when we're the higher ranked team... Come on.
The crowd has to call out these kids who must have just graduated from HS with this absolutely stupid chant!!!

Maybe the yell leaders or whatever they call themselves besides jumping jacks can give the throat slashing salute when that stupid chant begins.

How disrespectful of our team can you be, idiots?

If I read right Wrights lowest point total as Nova coach was 40. Just a guess but maybe he wanted to get north of 40

Grade A. He spoke at a company event a few years ago. The guy is classy and he appreciates/respects coaches like a Scott Drew.

If you ever have a chance to listen to him talk - do it.
