Inside Backer Is Different

Inside linebacker is a truly unique position on the football field. To a significant degree, football is a game of requisite athleticism. You can’t play corner at the P5 level if you run a 4.7, it’s just not possible. You won’t be a good running back if you have bad agility times. Etc.

Now, you still have to be a good athlete to play inside linebacker, but it matters relatively less compared to other positions.
