WACO, Texas – For the second straight week the Baylor Bears won three of their four games, including two ranked wins. This time, they earned wins over No. 23 UCLA and No. 7 LSU in the Shriners Classic in Houston, plus a solid midweek win over Abilene Christian.
On Friday night against UCLA, Tyler Thomas put forward his best performance of the year. He carried a shutout through eight innings before giving up a run and turning things over to Mason Marriott to close out the game.
