The Bears are currently on a five-game losing streak heading into the Kansas series. Pitching struggled this past week. And outside of Jared McKenzie, the offense did not match the output from the last two weeks.

It was a very disappointing week for Baylor baseball. They were swept by West Virginia in Morgantown and got crushed by Texas State in San Marcos. There were very few positives to take away from the four consecutive losses. 

Friday night’s game was marked by bad weather all throughout the contest. Even after a brief rain delay, Tyler Thomas continued to pitch well. It was a valiant effort from the fifth-year senior and leader of this team.
