76 Days till Kickoff: Baylor’s #76 Connor Galvin

Connor Galvin is a fifth-year senior offensive tackle from Katy, Texas. After winning Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2021, Galvin elected to return to Baylor for a fifth and final season in 2022. Listed as 6’7, 310 pounds, Galvin will anchor and lead one of the most experienced and productive offensive lines in the country. Beyond this season, NFL teams will have both Baylor tackles, Connor Galvin and Khalil Keith, high on their draft boards.
In his 2021 season that produced a Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year award, Galvin started all 14 games at left tackle. He was voted First Team All-American by The Athletic and Third-Team All-American by AP. The Katy native was also awarded All-Big 12 First Team. What many expected to be one of the weakest links of the team heading into the 2021 season, Galvin’s leadership at left tackle quickly showed the Baylor faithful that the offensive line was one of the strongest position groups on the field for the Bears.
Galvin was voted Preseason All-Big 12 in 2020, and he started all eight games at left tackle in Dave Aranda’s first season in Waco.
In the 2019 Sugar Bowl season, Galvin started the first five games of the season before injuring his knee. He had to miss four games before returning against Oklahoma, and then started the remaining four games on the schedule.
As a true freshman in 2018, he appeared in all 13 games and started the last six games at left tackle. He got his first collegiate start against West Virginia.
Galvin led Katy High School to a 12-1 record as a senior. He was graded out at 91% as a senior with 63 knockdowns. He was a three-star prospect and was the No. 67 player in Texas and No. 38 offensive tackle in the country, according to 247. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football put the future All-American on the third team Super Team. Galvin selected Baylor over TCU, UCLA, Florida, and Colorado.
