ESPN Announces 2022 Big 12 Soccer and Volleyball TV Selections

ESPN has revealed its television schedule for the 2022 Big 12 soccer and volleyball seasons. Thirteen contests featuring Big 12 teams will be highlighted on ESPN telecasts this season.
Ten volleyball contests were announced while three soccer matches were selected, including the final of the 2022 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship.
Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will stream over 150 matchups throughout the regular season and will air quarterfinal and semifinal matchups of the 2022 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship.
Longhorn Network is scheduled to showcase each Texas home match while SoonerVision on ESPN+ will air Oklahoma's home contests.
Big 12 soccer teams begin play August 18 with league matches starting September 22. Volleyball opens its season August 26 with Conference matches commencing September 21.

This is great for Baylor Soccer. There were essentially two games or four slots for Big 12 Soccer teams to be broadcast on ESPN U and they got one. TCU and West Virginia have consistently been the top two programs in the Big 12, so Kansas and Baylor are perhaps the “lucky ones” here.
It's nothing to scoff at though. A game that can reach a national audience can help with recruiting, especially outside of Texas.
A trip to Morgantown is not easy, so the Bears will need to be on their A-game. A win there would be big even if it wasn’t on ESPN U, now that it will be, three points would be amazing.
As far as Volleyball goes, the green and gold have three matches set for ESPN networks. This is the most of any team along with Kansas and West Virginia. The Bears get two matches on ESPN 2 and one on ESPN U.
The Bears will play at Iowa State on Wednesday, September 28 on ESPN 2; they host Oklahoma Wednesday, October 5 on ESPN U; and they host West Virginia Sunday, October 30 on ESPN 2.
Overall, the Bears, Mountaineers and Jayhawks are the most televised schools in the conference for these two sports, each with four appearances.
