The Defense Baylor Basketball will Have to Beat

In January of 2021, Baylor basketball had been destroying pick-and-roll coverages. Illinois tried dropping and got eviscerated. Some teams switched. Nothing worked. 

Kansas came to Waco and used a defense that slowed the Bears a bit. Jared Butler was magnificent that night, finishing with 30 points to give Baylor a 77-69 win. 

Kansas’ defense that night is likely to reappear against the Bears this season.
