I saw Reese gassed in mid 4th quarter. The kid is going to get hurt.

Ten Things That Stood Out From Baylor Visiting Lubbock
Baylor traveled to Lubbock on Saturday, October 29. The Bears were looking to break a 32 year streak of not winning in Lubbock and here are at least ten thoughts from the game.
- Just take the slide out of the game. It’s a judgement call for the officials on the spot, the offensive player still gets smacked into the turf, and the defensive player gets caught in a bad position.
- Great to see Cole Maxwell on the sideline coaching up the team
- Baylor is getting pressure rushing three and it is causing issues for Behren Morton early
- Prayers up for Drake Dabney after it appears he had a high tackle occuring and another player came in low
- You’re not going to get a call on 4th down against Tech in Lubbock, so quit asking for it and punch the Tech DL back in the mouth OL
- TJ Franklin has been a warrior all season with his minor injuries and he continues to make plays
- Hal Presley!!!!! What a catch
- That roughing the passer penalty on Gabe Hall was ridiculous
- Senior leaders and upperclassmen trying to get the emotion amped up on this drive late in the first half as Tech calls a timeout. This is an area you’d hoped to see earlier in the year and one of the first times I’ve seen it this apparent in a game with Ben Sims, Dillon Doyle, and more working the huddle on the sideline.
- Baylor’s defense has come out on fire with a sack by Gabe Hall and interception by Mark Milton in the first two plays of the second half
- The wide receiving room is growing up and starting to produce and showing why they were so highly thought of coming out of high school
- Defense got on their heels on the next drive and wasn’t able to contain the run which allowed Tech to speed up the play selection. Need to tighten up the edges and force the runs back inside for the remainder of the game.
- And the catastrophic play happens again on a simple toss to Reese which allows Tech to get the ball and convert a score to get the game within reach. Baylor needs an answer on offense again.
- It’s the fourth quarter so raise your fingers like the originator Crash Davis and hold on for the ride
- Qualan Jones looks to have gotten dinged up on a twisting tackle which could lead to seeing Jordan Jenkins in this game. There is the former Lindale star blocking for Kyron Drones and Richard Reese pounds it in two plays later to get the crowd down a level.
- Baylor secondary is having the best game of the season with another interception. this time by Alfahiym Walcott as Tech tried to throw with Donovan Smith at QB
- 9:38 to go in the game and Baylor 194 yards on the ground and through the air for 388 total.
- Welcome to the interception party Tevin Williams!!!!
- Tech is calling timeouts with 5:09 to go as Baylor pounds the rock and is going for 40+ minutes of possession in the game.
- Tech brings in the 3rd QB of the night with 4:11 to go and AJ McCarty says PICK SIX!!!
- Garmon Randolph gets a sack by just collapsing two offensive linemen into the QB. The defensive line is just feasting on Tech now with the sixth sack from Hall.
- Best the OL and DL for the Bears have played all year
- Baylor wins in Lubbock and remains in the Big 12 title hunt
