#5 Baylor (3-0) takes on #16 Virginia (2-0) Friday November 18th at 6pm CST in Las Vegas at the Continental Tire Main Event.  The game will be televised on ESPN2.

My season to season memory is so bad. Do I recall we had a super high rated recruit last year who was injured pre-season and had to take a red shirt? Who was that?

Bonner is still Bonner of last year…. Dude just isn't anything special unless we're playing cupcakes. Knock on Bridges was he disappears in big games.. according to WV fans perhaps that's the case

Positive takeaway. We didn't quit when we were on the verge of getting blown out. But as has been evident since the start, our D needs some work.

Zags gonna put up a cool hundo in Sioux Falls and Timme might go for 40. Lots of work to do. We really really are not in a great spot at the forward, center spots as far as depth and talent

Bad defense and lucky Virginia second half shooting is the difference in this game.

Baylor's love letters to Virginia probably took away their edge too.

We haven't punished them at all for their double teams. The reason is that we don't have anyone on the "roll" end of the pick and roll to get to the basket.

Lucky shooting? They were wide open, my grandma could have hit those 3s our defense is and has been god awful pretty much all season. We just gave up 80 plus to Virginia…. I cringe at what UCLA or Illinois will do Sunday as well as the Zags

We fought to get the lead back but not enough. Hopefully we grow from it. Virginia uncharacteristically making all those 3s wouldn't happen any other day. That ended up being the difference.

Feels like it's time to give Josh O all the minutes and force the development. Thamba continues to be more of a liability and a roster spot that should have been recruited over. I love what he did on the natty team but to have him be a staple this long is a bad thing.

Our D is the reason they make all those 3s not the other way around.

Not sure why anyone was calling Virginias 3 pt shooting lucky. These are D1 players. When your that wide open every time down the court you're going to make most of them. Defense needs to improve and fast or weee gonna struggle against any team with a pulse the rest of the way

I knew the D had some challenges watching how slowly they rotated, how weakly they covered the baseline and how out of position they were at times in those first games, but the step up in competition really exposed it tonight. That's gonna have a to change a lot, particularly against teams that can move it around the perimeter quickly.

I don't think it's an overreaction to say our defense is dog****…. Baylor will learn from this. But you can either defend well or you can't and this team has a bunch of guys who aren't good defenders at all

Did I say you were overreacting? You doth protest too much.

I was talking about the morons saying this game means it will be a long conference season. Nothing that happened tonight has any effect on what we'll be in February or March.

If you guys would actually listen to people who know basketball like Fran he described why we were having defensive issues at the beginning of the second half.

It was obvious as you and myself stated earlier. Offense needs to go through George with Flagler and Cryer spreading the perimeter. George should probably be running point for now

Need Jon back as a reliable roller. Unfortunately the freshman won't be there for a year or so and we didn't bring in a wing of Sochans caliber

Looks to also be accurate that the rotations and defense is off. Again was obvious but think Drew can piece something together.
