And possibly one of Flagler worst games (but with 2 clutch 2's). He saved the game for us really but was a non factor for 38:52 of the 40:00

And we overcame 3 missed dunks by a 6'11 guy (one he was clearly fouled on in his defense)

So really 17 TOs vs 14

They've held Gonzaga to 63. The defense hasn't been the issue


It was Tuesday & I saw several plays today in which one of our guys had an opportunity to steal the ball & didn't take it, or watched the opposing player shoot instead of trying to block, or something else.

It was great to see the defense lock them down in the last couple minutes but I would have preferred more of that all game. I think Jared, Davion, MaCio & Mark had me spoiled on offense & on defense.

I tell you what. When Love gets to the point he can fully trust that knee and has full range of motion, he has exhibited a LOT of potential of where he can soar.
He has a better feel for space than some of our other guards. Has started playing decent last few games. There was a reason he and Sochan were standouts last preseason. Once healthy will be a good physical defender and scorer. Still optimistic but it will take a few more months to trust the knee while adjusting to the game.

Love the defensive effort. Great defense down the stretch.

I'm still concerned that maybe that game was a battle of fringe top 25 teams but this is no time for negativity.

Go bears! We won an ugly one and that is a good thing!

It was bad all the way around. Bridges should've called a TO. But the setup of that play was awful. Flagler was too far on one end of the court and you can't have someone running full steam ahead toward the sideline.

Flagler was sliding with him and led him right into KG1 who did a great job of not fouling
