WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics has announced its NIL Advisory Council, a six-member group of Baylor supporters and business leaders who are strategically guiding NIL efforts for Baylor student-athletes.

The NIL Advisory Council is chaired by Mark McCollum, with support from Kevin Cherry, Jeremy Fudge, Cary Gray, Larry Heard and Dan Hord. These include connections with local business opportunities, entrepreneurial development programs created to help student-athletes maximize their platforms and offer comprehensive support.

GXG™ is the athletics arm of Startup Waco, a nonprofit organization serving the Waco community by creating a culture of entrepreneurship since its founding in 2018. Remember? Baylor was 6-0 and ranked in the top 10 with Briles Jr and Grobe running the show. These clowns along with their nuclear attack PR firm decided it was time to sabotage the program once again and pulled the one-sided dishonest WSJ Press Attack on Briles right before game 7 against UT. The coaches and the team were pissed and everything went to hell shortly after. Anyone involved in that should not be forgotten and will never get $1 from me as long as they are involved. I see Ron Murff at games. I can't stand looking at him. Bad move by Baylor to have any of these guys involved publicly in any sports program.

From Texas Tribune Dec 8 2016

Former Baylor University coach Art Briles who was fired this year amid a scandal over the school's handling of allegations of sexual assault against football players has sued three university regents and a school employee for libel, according to reports.

Briles claims in the suit that Board of Regents Chairman Ronald Murff, Regent J. Cary Gray, Regent David Harper and Senior Vice President Reagan Ramsower falsely told journalists that Briles knew about allegations of sexual assault against athletes and didn't report them.

Regents Murff and Gray were quoted in a Wall Street Journal article in October saying that 19 football players had been accused of assault or rape since 2011.

I agree… murff was the chairman who had a catalog business that sold "*** toys"…..not the entire catalog but enough… and the old group had the stupidity to provide misinformation (new word for telling lies) about Briles to the media ….glad the group of 6 has the money….. but they don't have the money the TT Matador Club has……we will always be second class in NiL

I read the entire NCAA report, and Briles seemed to not need any help getting rid of himself.

Are we seriously going down that path again?

Murff was CFO of one or more financial institutions or mortgage companies that failed during the 2008 great recession.

You're too kind.

The bank examiners that reviewed Gurantys asset portfolio rarely suggest that leadership was a factor in a bank becoming insolvent. But in the case of Murff and Guaranty Bank, they almost did just that. Under Murffs leadership, Guaranty Bank became insolvent largely because of incorrectly valued mortgage assets that the leadership of Guaranty acquired. Murff was responsible for these assets and thus the banks failure.

This announcement proves that the same people are still in charge.

And as mentioned by others Willis ran the male enhancement pill and sex toy "pharmacy."
