OU blows! Bears want any chance of sneaking back into the B12 title discussion this is a must win. Fully healthy roster wise, at home against a bad OU team. Take care of business Bears.

I'm not worried about this game at all. If we play well, we roll.

Yup was more worried about Tech. Me thinking this means will probably be in another dogfight. Like I've said in other threads we're set up nicely to roll into Lawrence at 20-6. Not to get ahead of myself 1 at a time but I think the Bears handle the Sooners rather easily

I wasn't worried about Tech at home either. We're reaching the point in the season where we're not likely to lose to mediocre teams at home. I don't think we're going to be caught flat-footed or unfocused the rest of the way, and that's what it would take to lose this type of game IMO.

We may shoot poorly and drop one at home to a good team, but I don't think we have any slip ups against one of this league's two or three non-tournament teams. With JTT back and contributing, I think this team is starting its ascent to its tournament peak.

In all due respect, OU just a week ago took out the No. 2 team in the Nation by 24 at home. Like Tech, just because they are struggling in the Big 12 doesn't mean they are a mediocre team. I expect a hard fought down to the last couple of possessions kind of game.

OU played out of their minds against Bama. Definitely an anomaly. They're the least talented team in the B12 and I'm not sure it's close. Bears will roll as OU will continue to fade towards a sub .500 season

A) Oklahoma's win over Alabama was a massive outlier. B) They won't be playing this game in Norman.

If we play well, we'll roll. And I expect us to play well.

It would be nice to see us (and especially KG) get off to a fast start for a change and be at least somewhat in control at halftime. This is another taking care of business on the home floor type game and if we somehow blow it, we don't deserve to be in the thick of the conference race.

Agreed, OU is a top 60 team in NET rankings. A tourney quality opponent. Would live to see us roll but could be a dog fight like in Norman. No easy wins in this conference, we'll need to bring our A game.

OU plays solid team defense. They really held us in check in Norman.

If we play our B game we win. With JTT back I think that plays best against their weakness on defense which is the Groves brothers. Not good perimeter defenders.

I started going to Baylor sporting events 50 years ago with my dad. The only thing I have learned is no win is quaranteed until its over, Sicem bears. Take care of business.

OU is not a bad team..SMU Tulsa Louisville and Georgetown are examples of bad teams

I think some lose perspective because this conference is so good top to bottom..there is no bad loss in this league.

You don't beat Alabama like that..I don't care if it was in Norman or a parking lot .if you're a bad team.

OU is good enough to win almost any game in the conference. Just like every other member of the Big 12. Their win over Bama says more about the relative strength of the conferences than their position in this conference.

That said, Baylor is the better team & should win.

Where are those who were bellowing about the new arena not having 10,000+ seats? Embarrassing big gaps of open seats directly in TV view.

Not sure if it is 100% attributable to JTT or what, but we just have the look of a more confident team. Doesn't mean we won't still have a lapse or two on D, but just the overall movements are that of a more confident team.

Yeah our fanbase has been making fun of techs arena being empty but this is embarrassing. We're 17-6 and ranked #14. You'd think by the crowd we were 6-17

Sing practice? Finals? Homecoming floats? None of those are applicable now....a Wednesday in February.

Nah....most young people who elect to attend Baylor simply aren't passionate sports fans. They probably weren't at their high school. They are passionate about academics, church activities, sorority and fraternity things.....and we can all name more things that the typical Baylor student is passionate about.

Sure, there is a percentage who are passionate about sports, but it's simply the makeup of our student body.

There is a reason the new arena seats what it seats.
