Agreed, it really did look off flag live. Just not sure there was enough there to overturn it. The call on Chuck was bad… dodged a bullet there. Like I said I really think all things considered this is the most impressive win of the year. Have we came back to win a game this year down by 9 that late ?

Missed the game on TV. From reading, it sounds like our D is so awful that we gave up 68 points and won on the road (against a good team).

I'm sure LJ couldn't see anyone else open but it wasn't a great idea to inbound it into a trap by the TCU bench with Dickson standing there as well, basically trapping Flag in all directions and essentially creating the effect of a 6th defender. As I said, I'm sure he only threw it there because no one else was breaking open away from that area.

We've always been pretty bad at inbounding against a press under Drew. It's kinda amazing actually

30 layups. Our d was atrocious

Only because tcu is horrific on offense did we win the game

Throw in a missed Love front end that would have basically ended it and we had to Survive a last second I'll advised mid range jumper from a terrible shooter

Gotta love the sofa spuds who don't contribute in game threads but then can't wait until they know what happened to come and post.

i'm still stuck on how a ref could overturn a call with no view of the ball, asking the arena for additional camera angles and there being none, and the original call was by a ref 6 feet away with no obscured vision...

Just looking at the score, records, and venue of the game. Is there some obligation to participate in moronic game threads?

Surely there has to be some rule against a TV broadcast being asked to provide additional views of a replay by officials? Very bizarre. Fran bending over backwards to get that call overturned...lol wth.

Since the call on the floor was Baylor ball, I really didn't see indisputable evidence to overturn it in spite of what Fran kept raving about.

You and I both know you would have never appeared in this thread if we had lost. Don't kid yourself. Or us.

Was just a makeup for the clearly missed call to tie it up. It gave them the chance to say "hey we gave y'all a chance"

Good to get out of there with the W. Some really clutch shots by Flagler and hustle by Bridges down the stretch to carry the day. Really had to have this one, coming in with only 1 win against the top half of the conference. We've given away too many games we should have won (pretty much all of the losses outside of Marquette, maybe one other), so great to see things beside sphincters tighten up in the 2nd half today

Omg what a choke by tcu
They were never up by more than nine. And that was with like nine minutes left. This was just a standard basketball game. Teams make runs.
They had a 10 point lead at one point. It did not last long.

Happens every time. I love the hindsight 20-20 group that shows up to flame everyone only after the final result is known - as if they knew all along what the outcome was going to be.

We split with tcu and only lost by 1 when they HAD their best offensive weapon and we lacked our best defensive weapon.

I love the grit to come back down 10.

Both teams will be dangerous in the tourney.

Sic em!!!

Flag's finally 8 minutes offensively, in particular, were a thing of beauty.

Saw that in a game last year, can't remember who. It sure seemed like it was off fkag but idk how you overturn that call. And Fran 100% was advocating for that to be TCUs ball. Maybe he saw something we couldn't on TV
I didn't have a problem with it. We got really lucky on the O'Bannon foul call, and that ball did look like it was off Flagler.

They owed us 3 or 4 at that point so I feel zero sympathy
I'm glad they got it and still lost.

I'll say, tcu made 30 layups. Benefited 3-4 times from some super questionable calls, played us basically without keynote, And lost. At home. In the game they care more about than any other.

Says more about them than us.

Always a bridesmaid

So weird to see tcu get a call like that against a national title blue blood team like Baylor but I just expected it

He's not quick enough for this TCU team. None of our bigs are.

This really is a tough matchup for us. TCU was built with long, quick, athletic slashers. Those guys give us fits.
Agreed, horrible matchup for us but we still found a way to steal a road win. Incredible.

Yep. Heck of a win.

Flagler willed us on offense and we found some defense out of nowhere in the final eight minutes.

Despite what was said in this thread when we were down, this is a gritty team. We're just not as good defensively as we've been in past years.

We are not going to be as good defensively as we were two years ago. Probably.

I found it fascinating that we had JTT on the floor defensively at the end. To my old but unprofessional observation, Drew trusts JTT's confidence and conditioning.

We have a month for our excellent coaches to figure this out. jTT's presence adds depth and experience but also complexity and challenges. He's not yet, maybe ever, the high flying JTT, but he adds a lot, or he would not have been on the floor in the end.
