The 5 star guys we've had before were

Perry Jones
Isaiah Austin
Quincy Miller
Kendall Brown
Keynote George

I wouldn't put any of those guys on Baylor's top 10 players.



Drew absolutely needs to stop recruiting them, the only guy on the list that didn't actively hurt his team was Jones. And he was he a disappointment
we need players with that dog in them. lace dunn. pierre jackson. terry teagle. quincy acy. taurean prince. davion. tweety. macio. shoot even mark vital. size didn't matter - it was the fight.
The only dogs on this team are Dale Bonner and Jalen Bridges.

JTT has a willing spirit, but his body's not there unfortunately.

Exactly. Recruit for fire. The guys coming in over the next two years fit that more closely. Still good to have some calming presence players but can't have every player on the roster deferring

Our D was atrocious but getting that 2nd foul on a ba call on Flo and that offensive foul wiling the 3 were huge

You can keep the freshmen. I don't give a chit what they do in the NBA 5 years from now. Gimme an experienced PG out of the portal who knows how to control tempo on the offensive end and play tough D on the other. I'll take that over any kid who is gonna be here for 1 year and his rating is based upon projected performance 5 years from now.

Yep. Has been all year.

I thought he was going to be a really good pro, but I'm not so sure anymore.

If he can't score efficiently against college talent, how is he going to do so in the NBA?

And both his decision-making and defense, as has been detailed by others, are consistently suspect.

It never felt like we were winning this....but had possession down 9 with 2 minutes to go....and KG just launches himself in the air for a circus shot. Suboptimal.

Creighton won it on being hot shooting but refs gave them all the advantages. Bunch of bs calls on us when Creighton was doing same thing.

I said this last year.

I don't even want the one-and-dones. They're frustrating for the one year you have them and don't help you win in March.

Bingo, so many good PGs in the portal last off season. I truly hope Grimes is ready to go. This team HAS to improve immensely at the wing and center position. And for the love of god get guards who can actually defend. I don't give a crap if they can score 14 a game if they're giving up 20 burgers that does no good

I could blame the refs tonight, but refs wouldn't have fixed us going 5-22 from three while allowing 11-24. This team wasn't nearly the defensive power it was the last three seasons, and it unfortunately showed today.

Contrary to the *****ing today, Flo played really hard and fairly well tonight.

He had a disappointing season, but he was a contributor to our program during its greatest stretch in school history.

And I'll always love Adam Flagler. That dude was a great player for us for a long time. It's a shame he didn't finish the way he wanted to.

I was agreeing with you. We haven't mixed in the right guys and the freshman we got were on the softer side. Just saying mixing in a few is possible. Alabama has a few this year working well. Others don't.

But in general 18 yo v 23 yo is tough. I agree with that. I'm saying you can sprinkle them in if you can handle it. So far we haven't been able to

It probably started to a few weeks ago. Mid conference was still safe now it's way more up in the air. Potential is huge and front offices believe in their ability to develop but intangibles do factor in if egregious. Will be interesting
