Utah State transfer EDGE prospect Byron Vaughns has committed to Baylor out of the transfer portal. He becomes the first transfer commit of this spring cycle and joins a massive group of transfer additions who enrolled before spring football.
The 6-foot-4, 238-pound prospect totaled 110 tackles, 19.5 for loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, seven PBUs and 61 QB pressures over the last two seasons.
Vaughns will fit in at the JACK positon for Baylor which has a young group outside of veteran leader Garmon Randolph.

Trivia: Utah State HC Blake Anderson, once considered a candidate for BU job, is a Hubbard, TX and Hubbard High School native and played at BU I believe. Hope that helped with the decision.
