Oregon Transfer Defensive Lineman Treven Ma'ae Commits to Baylor
Oregon transfer defensive lineman Treven Ma’ae has given his commitment to the Baylor staff following his official visit and Green and Gold Game trip this past weekend. He joins Utah State JACK Byron Vaughns as the commits out of the transfer portal during this most recent cycle.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect totaled 12 tackles, two for loss, and one sack during the 2022 season, most of that production came in the first nine games of the season. In 2021, he totaled 21 tackles, four for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Ma’ae will provide much-needed depth on the defensive line and he possesses the versatility to play all the defensive line positions. Look for Ma’ae to fit into the two-deep up front and be a major factor for the Baylor defenses depth this season while also being a major factor in the 2024 season as well.
