Without Blue Blood OUT? Unless someone can snag Oregon or Washington that is unlikelly to happen. Colorado and Arizona are hardly bringing that much to the table except diluting and already diluted paydate.

This is without any additions, I think. Rather, it's a reflection on increasing value outside of the media deal, e.g., adding March Madness units, CFB playoff money, bowl games, conference championships, etc.

Not at all unreasonable since we were pulling in $40M+ already.

Edit: 42.6M in 2021-2022.

People are constantly confused by this .the new Big 12 deal is 31.7 mil per team..50 mil is the CFP and March Madness and Tier 3 units thrown in

The important question is about the final total. The media obviously is a huge part of that but if each member gets close to $50 million per year when bowl games & March Madness ard jnckyfed then expansion makes more sense.

This, plus the legacy Big 12 teams are giving up revenue for 2023-2024 and 2023-2025 in order to give money to the new members since the current media partners aren't paying the Big 12 more for expansion for those two seasons. Those reductions will likely be offset slightly by UT's and OU's exit fees, however, it would be good to be prepared for disappointing revenue headlines - and Big 12 per team conference payout ranking - for those two seasons due to that issue.
