Is the number 12.. or XII going to stand for something besides the number of teams now?

Yormark hire has been a master stroke, so far. The shift in thinking he has brought is the right plan for the right time.

I don't look for Big 12 or Big 10 to change their names to coincide with number of members. I think those brands are set. The PAC, however, has changed frequently with membership numbers.
