Why Jalen Bridges Returning was Crucial for Baylor

Recently I’ve been a bit of a downer about Baylor’s prospects in 2023-2024. The Bears — after four years as legitimate national title contenders — felt like a No. 8/9 seed before the news that Jalen Bridges is returning.

It gets annoying, at times, to get into the “best vs. most valuable player.” That caveat aside, Bridges may have been Baylor’s most valuable or irreplaceable player last season.

I don't subscribe to premium so let me take a shot at this one..
Because we need forwards who can defend and rebound.
Because we need his scoring.
Because we need older established guys to lead the young kids.

Am I close?

Because he's a versatile and athletic player who can score, rebound and defend. He averaged 10.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in the 2022-23 season, helping Baylor reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. He also has a 50.6% field goal percentage, which shows his efficiency and accuracy so I think Bridges is expected to be probably THE MAIN GUY and leader for the Bears in the upcoming season.

Bridges was playing for West Virginia and not part of the national championship team.

It's not a poster. It's a bot. If this board had any moderation whatsoever, the account would have already been banned.

DiD anyone report it to the moderators or do you expect them to read every single post on every single thread? Does anyone seriously think that is possible? These people have other responsibilities & other jobs.

Of course it's possible. This is the only message board I post on that doesn't have active moderation. And it's insane to me.

The free boards are the windows into Sicem365 for most new users. To leave all moderation up to the posters' inclination to report nonsense is a good way to drive away potential customers.

I read somewhere that he won the national championship team. Thank you for correcting me, buddy
