Baylor Basketball senior guard Adam Flagler was signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder in an undrafted free agent deal Friday morning according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Flagler is now a part of the same organization as Jared Butler, another key member of the 2020-21 National Championship team.
After four years in Waco, Flagler will now embark on a new journey with his decorated collegiate career in the rearview. The unanimous first-team All-Big 12 guard was the leader of the Bears’ attack for the last two seasons after being the first guard off the bench during the 2021 National Championship run.
Through his time at Baylor University, Flagler helped the Bears win back-to-back Big 12 championships as well as earning multiple weekly conference honors and national watchlist selections.
Flagler averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.5 made threes in 33.7 minutes per game this past season as he assumed full point guard responsibilities for the Bears. He hit 42.6% of his shots from the field, 40% from three and 79% from the free throw line. Flagler’s advanced shooting numbers were 52.8% effective field goal percentage and 56.2% true shooting percentage.
Flagler started his collegiate career at Presbyterian College where he was named the Big South’s 2018-19 Freshman of the Year.
