That's a very good question..not sure if the definition of runner means you have control of ball vs if you're juggling it

That was one hell of a defensive half. The offense played well, too. Just need to do a better job of finishing drives.

He wasn't bobbling the ball. I think the ruling was based upon him not having the ball long enough to establish. But I'm just guessing.

More importantly, we go to halftime with 1 10-3 lead!!

Last week was a swift gut check of the highest order. Every player after that performance has to question/evaluate their own effort/want to/heart/desire. It appears that to a man the response has been all we would hope for. Maybe it happening so early actually jump starts these guys playing together as a team.

Yes, since it was ruled incomplete, that means he was not a runner. Thus, the helmet hit warrants penalty.
