That back for Tech went Bijan on us like UT last year. No improvement tackling was horrible.

They said he had a personal best last night.

Everyone has personal bests against us. Our defense is bottom of the B12 is almost every statistical category. Unacceptable for a defensive minded HC

Tech running backs very similar to Seastrunk and Linwood. Took the ball, slight pause to find the hole, then hit the hole and fall forward after contact. Got behind big lineman and just moved the pile. I think while Joey was on staff back in Waco he spent some time in the film room watching 2012-2015 BU game footage.

The good news is we can't fall any farther. We are the basement. The locker room has zero want to. No energy from the start. Missing the portal just the latest indicator. Way behind the 8 ball. We need an offense talented athletes want to play in. We need a new staff. An o line and a d line. We are beyond just the portal helping. We haven't looked this bad since Steele. His excuse was $ and facilities and no staff. We had fixed the $ and facilities we just have a staff scheme and talent issue. It can be an easier fix with an exciting staff (see Colorado)

Baldwin is spectacular. He's a guy I look at and think "I hope he just likes Baylor" because he could thrive here or anywhere else.

Looking back, I also believe that to be true about Gerry B. It has not been the same for two years now. I do not believe this is primarily a talent problem at all. It is an attitude/culture/locker room problem. Not sure why, but it seems very real to me

Brooks is terrific. He's their best offensive player by a mile. It's crazy that it took multiple quarterback injuries for Kittley to realize what he had in his backfield. But they'll be a much better offensive team riding him than they were running their pop gun Air Raid with mediocre receivers.
