Our challenge is that poor blocking isn't relegated to just the offensive linemen on this team. The TEs aren't very good at it. The wides aren't very good at it. And the backs, other than Pendergrass are atrocious at it. I've seen Blake throw as many and better blocks as some of our skill position guys.

We've thrown more than we've run today and are hitting just over 50 percent of our passes. That will get us blown out. Incomplete deep balls on first or second down are worse than two-yard runs up the middle.

The bottom line is we're not blocking anything, and our receivers aren't getting separation. That's why our offense looks the way it does. This isn't a play-calling issue today. We're getting whipped physically.

We ran two run plays on 1st 2nd. That's Frimes Mo in the RZ always has been. He coaches like a little ***** in the red zone. Passing game is there to be taken advantage of. He just won't capitalize. He's a scared little *****

this. hit a few slants, some crossing plays, wheel routes, etc. the lb's take two steps back. give your dudes a chance. this is setting the line and rb's up for failure.

That play was Grimes idea of up tempo. I hate the hurry up and run the ball. It's the easiest play to defend.

And we have what 10 rushing yards? Tech is built to stop the inside run.. they are weak in the secondary.

Agreed, but trying to highlight any good things about this team isn't possible. It's bad in every aspect.

Theoretically, yes. But our guys have not been open downfield. Run or pass, players have to beat their defenders and ours aren't.
