In the decades of Bill Snyder’s reign at Kansas State, they became known for sound, power football. That was exemplified by the Collin Klein era which limited possessions and ground teams to a paste, often 4 to 6 yards at a time. And when they had the rare NFL receiver like Tyler Lockett, they dominated and reached the upper echelon of college football.
But overall they were largely middle of the pack offense nationally.
