365 avoids an accurate description of Mack's attitudes as much as Mack dodged almost all his SOFTBALL QUESTIONS. I beat you to this posting the other day so we all know. Aranda is here to stay because Mack has no balls because the Smoak Bros don't have the balls to hit him with the direct questions.

Sounds to me like he is talking like he is sure he isnt going to make a change this season or after. If he isnt sure about that, I agree it is strange he is talking like this or even talking at all.

This is the college football version of quiet quitting. It is obvious that competing at a high-level is no longer a priority at Baylor. Well, my attention on Saturdays is not going to compete at a high level, and I'm sure a lot of people's donations will not be competing at a high-level. Don't know how else to get anyone's attention

Rhoades made a poor, risky decision when he hired a first time ever HC in Dave Aranda. Mind you -- NO other program in the country was looking at Aranda as a P5 head coach. But Rhoades did. Rhoades has always fancied himself as the smartest guy in the room.......

Rhoades then played scared and made it even worse by doubling down and giving Aranda a ridiculous contract after one winning season. A winning season with key players he had nothing to do with being at Baylor. And a contract Baylor now has to live with because it's just too rich for Baylor to fire Aranda.

Rhoades is the problem and has been every AD stop he has had. Look it up. Rhoades is the main piece that must go!

Poor response on Aranda. Waiting on a directionless program is always a mistake. Being proactive is positive. Dave is done. We have a real basketball coach with a real program.

I have never been more pessimistic about Baylor football than I currently am. This is all on Rhoades, and he needs to be fired. He probably won't be. Mediocrity is the new norm, and these players transferring definitely see that the administration does not view winning as important. If they did, we wouldn't have the 61st rated recruiting class.

1. Narcissistic ego cause of the greatest coach in Big 12 history to leave. THAT was enough to have all Baylor fans rise up and throw him back to Mo. …never forgive the idiot.
2. Hired BB Coach Rodriguez 67-75 B12
3. Hired Tennis Coach Boland - no comment
4. Matt Rhule was a good hire.
5. Hired WBB Coach Collins - best available? for our (was) reputation and what Baylor pays good coaches? Not even a good hire.

The AD that got away?
Football team: Undefeated.
This will be 5 bowl games in-a-row; won 3 of the 4.
Average 9 wins a season.

Dump Rhoades BEFORE poor Aranda.

He and Overshown actually tried the genius maneuver of calling out the fans (despite good attendance), along with little head pats when we were 6-3 last year.

We have won one home game since then against Iced Tea. Since Mack and Overshown seem so comfortable calling out the fans when winning, I'm sure he doesn't mind fans calling them out when we've become the turd in the punch bowl.

I will not be renewing my seats next year. And yes, it'll be a ghost town.

As of today, 10 games in for all Big 12 teams,
BU defense is LAST in the conference in points allowed, and NEXT TO LAST in points scored.

I agree that Mac is an issue.

I am curious, are Mac's hands tied because of the Pres and Board that he cannot fire Aranda so he has to make it sound as good as possible. In other words, he has no choice.

Does anyone really know what that situation could be? If your boss says this is what we are going to do then he, as a subordinate, must be supportive of that decision.

Any real, informed thoughts?.

The only hope we have now is that those donors with deeper pockets will close their wallets. Financial pain is the only thing that will get through to the incompetent people we have in control.

It really would be nice to know what the true power structure is at this time. Problem is, we may not know until this crap storm is over, since the powers that be certainly don't feel like coming out right now and saying, " Yes, I'm responsible for the 61st ranked class. You can send gift baskets to my house."

Mack has already called out our fan support before things were even close to as bad as they are now

The last time we had a problem with really bad football coaching and an inept athletic director we also had to get rid of not one, but two presidents to get a coach who knew what the hell he was doing.

I really do think the only way Rhoades survives this is if he keeps Aranda and a miracle happens (that's not possible) or he makes a genius hire that provides an immediate turnaround next season.

He's looked so inept and weak all season it's embarrassing. He even guaranteed a win in the President's Suite before the homecoming game against ISU in front of everyone! That's a hard image to recover from when the entire planet knew we were losing that game before it started.
