I've been positive on this team all season, but I'm starting to come to grips with the fact that this is not a good basketball team.
They know, they just don't want to call it.BearFan33 said:vanillabryce said:

yeah, definitely a good team. Just not a sweet 16 team.PaperBear89 said:Mitch Henessey said:

Better than 2021? No.
Not good? Not even close.
They don't play defense...which has been apparent since the Auburn game. Either the coaching staff can't correctly see opponent tendencies from game film, or the players are too dumb to understand what the coaches are trying to tell the in the game prep. Take BYU: they shoot like 35-40 3s a game. So what don't we do? that's right...guard the 3 pt line. That BYU had a poor shooting night from outside doesn't mean we were playing good defense. This team also can't defend the ball screens...too many open looks because the ball defender goes under the screen and the screen defender doesn't make as much as a feint step towards the ball. And the lane is usually open for either a driver or the post down there by himself.Mitch Henessey said:

This team is going to be lucky to get past round 1. round 2? whatever the round of 64 is called now.TinFoilHatPreacherBear said:yeah, definitely a good team. Just not a sweet 16 team.PaperBear89 said:Mitch Henessey said:

And if we could even hit 50% of our FTs, we'd be undefeated still. You can't blow winnable games. This team straight up blew this game.BearkatBear said:

With all the good / highly ranked conference teams still on the schedule. This baylor team won't be competitive against Houston or Kansas...or hell, maybe even Oklahoma or Texas.BearkatBear said:

Let's just pray to God that this is Missis worst game ever.
we have one bad game on the road in the big 12 so were gonna get upset by a 14 seed in round 1. okBCC97 said:This team is going to be lucky to get past round 1. round 2? whatever the round of 64 is called now.TinFoilHatPreacherBear said:yeah, definitely a good team.
