While some may still hate the Aggies or dislike TCU, or even feel disdain for Texas Tech, the University of Texas has long been the school most Baylor fans want to defeat. 

Texas is the reason the Big 12 went to its current state and almost went extinct. The Longhorns' desire for more revenue and control of the Big 12 — whether rightfully or wrongly — led Nebraska to bolt the league for the Big 10, and it caused other schools to search for alternative options.

Our rivalries are different then most other places. We only hate those we can never beat (aggy, UT or TCU) when it really matters. Yes, we can win here and there over some good teams from those three but rarely do we win when they are better then us. Now add in Houston and we have our hands full.

Real rivalries like Auburn/UGA or UT/OU or Michigan/OSU are built upon great teams facing each other most years and anything can happen.
