He's been a solid finisher all year. He can't create his own offense, but he can catch and finish pretty well -- especially for a backup big.

Like I say every game. Just keep it within six or eight at halftime.

It's frustrating that we're so slow to start every game, but we'll make a run eventually.

I'm telling you, to tell the guys, "we could move up to a No. 2 seed" is not enough inspiration today. After seeing Iowa State not show up with nothing to play for, I thought we had the potential to do the same. We'll be a different team in the NCAA tourney.

The problem is these types of starts are a trend for us. Even during this good run on we're on, we've had several horrible starts.

The thing that really frustrates me is when our opponents are visibly playing at an intensity level that we're not coming close to matching. That's been the case so far today. Tech is playing way harder than us.

This isn't true. You can count the number of games we've been down by double digits at half on one hand.

We've had a lot where we got down by double digits and trimmed it to a manageable number before the break.

We are not a team that closes 1St halves string. We've also puked leads a ton of times. This you know but marry your opinion that's wrong.
Our problem is usually starting first halves poorly, not closing them. We're a horrible starting basketball team.

This has been a rare game where we never made a substantial first-half run. That's why this will be our third-largest halftime deficit of the season.
