11pm update: I think he's staying. Immediate family not on board. He wanted a clear answer and that is it. Lots of people from his past telling him "you have to take it, it is Kentucky" but it just doesn't make sense for his family. Drew will turn the page quickly and be all in on building Baylor basketball back to the top.
I liked what I heard about the portal options. Feel free to dunk on me forever if I am wrong. But I don't think he's going against his family wishes even if he has the itch to embrace the challenge. He's getting wise counsel.

Any truth of this, I saw someone retweet us on Instagram

Well it's being reported his family just got back from Lexington. Horrible look on Drew's part to do that if he's taking the job. But I think we're going to hear tomorrow he's accepted the job. Just one's opinion

How to ruin your reputation in one simple tweet.
I wouldn't go that far. It's a misfire, for sure. And it will create some ill will with some fans. But one poorly thought out tweet doesn't undo 21 years of goodwill.
Quit covering for him man, it wasn't a poorly thought out tweet, it was an intention misdirection. Be it to give his wife cover or not, he wanted everyone to think the situation was not what it looks like.. There were lots of better ways to handle this than he did.
No one said there weren't better ways to handle this. The best way would have been to say nothing.

But one tweet doesn't "ruin his reputation." Like many here today, you're being a drama queen.

I love drew but he should apologize for that one, regardless of what he does it's going to change the public perception on his communications unless he eventually addresses it.

Hodge must not be convinced Drew's post today means anything at all

I respect and enjoy Ashley's content, but he is also trying to keep people like you and me glued to this site with his uncertainty regarding Drew.

The staff never really knows more than you and I..
