Podcast: Baylor MBB Transfer Portal Talk

Talking Points

• Expect the backcourt to be Jeremy Roach (SR Duke transfer), Jayden Nunn (SR), Langston Love (JR), VJ Edgecombe (5 star FR), Rob Wright (5 star  FR).
• Miro Little looks like a potential transfer to Florida Atlantic to follow John Jakus who was his primary recruiter.  This would have the blessing from the Baylor staff.  
• Igor Milicic Jr chose Tennessee, so the Bears are still on the hunt for a 4 man.  There have been some interesting names discussed.   
• Speaking of Tennessee, the Bears remain the favorites to land Jonas Aidoo (Tennessee all SEC performer), but he plans to take a few more visits before deciding.  
• We talk about wanting a Royce O’Neale, Ish Wainright, Mark Vital prototype for toughness, defense and rebounding.  Making 3s would be a bonus.  
• Door isn’t totally closed to Jalen Bridges returning but looks unlikely.  
• Josh Ojianwuna’s decision to stay may depend on what happens with Jonas Aidoo but hopefully he stays regardless of what Aidoo decides.  
• Some Jason Asemota talk.  We discuss mostly what the top 10 on the roster would look like and fill out the other 3 later.  
• Remember that there will likely be at least 30 guys hitting the portal closer to the deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft who are now going through the draft process.
