Baylor Needs to Remain Deeply Invested in Basketball for Realignment

With a rumor swirling online that the SEC might be interested in adding Kansas, Mike Vernon — who writes about the Jayhawks — wrote this week, “I believe the idea is legitimate — but a lot of things have to shake out right. So, yes, it’s possible. But it’s nothing more than possible right now.” 

The premise is that the ACC will collapse. I agree with that component. Florida State, Miami, Clemson and North Carolina all want out.
