Unfortunately, it probably would not be enough for a top tier quarterback.

In 2022 the University of Tennessee had $3.3 million in alcohol sales at Neyland Stadium. If we consider Neyland is more than twice the size of McLane and that I think the average beer consumption per fan at BU would be about 1/2 the average Tennessee fan that results in about $825k in gross sales.

Let's say selling price is 5X cost of goods that's $165k in cost of goods, for a gross profit of $660k. Then you have to consider who you have to have selling the stuff, volunteers/church groups/boy scouts (or whatever ever they are now)/etc can't serve the beer. That's going to cost you something. Then, over all of that, liability insurance for general alcohol sales in the stadium will not be free.

All in, I would guess BU would net less than $400k from beer sales. There might be some branding bucks to be had like University of Texas with AB. I don't think they would do that. "Budweiser, the Official Beer of Baptists" would be a hard sell at about every level.

My bet is that this has been discussed and discarded as not worth the pain it would generate.

What does that have to do with wokeness exactly? That term has literally lost all meaning.

There will never be proper drinks sold at McLane. I don't remember what Jesus turned water into. Someone can chime in. Was it chocolate milk?

Probably a watered down red wine as that was what typically was drank in those times in the company of polite society, but it definitely still had alcohol in it, and it would still get you drunk if you drank enough of it
