Commit Highlights: Multiple Bears Pile Up Stats in Week 2

Coppell QB Edward Griffin‍ beat Waxahachie 28-27 (OT). He finished 13-of-21 for 283 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also had 10 carries for 43 yards and a game-winning touchdown. Griffin converted a third and 26 pass that went for 63 yards late in the fourth quarter. He capped off the drive with a game-tying quarterback sneak with 21 seconds left in the game.

Pauls Valley (OK) RB Caden Knighten‍ beat Davis 31-14. He posted 175 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He also added 101 receiving yards and a touchdown

Richland RB Michael Turner‍ beat Colleyville Heritage 43-23. Turner totaled 71 yards and two touchdowns on 17 touches.

Shadow Creek WR Ashton Jones‍ beat Clear Creek 34-6. He finished with two catches for 39 yards.

The Bolles School (FL) WR Chase Collier‍ had a canceled game this week.

Red Oak WR Taz Williams‍ lost to Arlington Seguin 50-14. He posted six catches for 97 yards. 

Shadow Creek WR Jacorey Watson‍ beat Clear Creek 34-6. He finished with 33 yards on four receptions.

Chapel Hill ATH Demetrius Brisbon‍ beat Gilmer 33-29. He finished 6-of-15 for 106 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. He also added 126 yards on 19 carries. On defense, he came down with the game-winning interception in the end zone to seal the deal. 

Jackson Prep (MS) OL Matthew Parker‍ beat Pillow Academy 63-0. 

Columbia (MS) OL Harrison Cluff‍ beat West Marion 38-6. 

Lorena DL Jackson Blackwell‍ lost to Malakoff 34-14. He totaled four tackles, a sack and a QB hurry.

Iowa Colony EDGE/DE Christopher Johnson‍ beat Crosby 24-0. He finished with four tackles and one tackle for loss.

South Oak Cliff EDGE Kamauryn Morgan‍ lost to Duncanville 34-12. He totaled three tackles and two sacks.

Cy Falls LB Kaleb Burns‍ lost to Klein Oak 24-21. He finished with 11 tackles, two for loss, two interceptions, a pick-six, 1.5 sacks and a PBU.

Klein Collins LB Trent Spence‍ lost to Willis 40-7. 

Hebron LB/S Bo Onu‍ lost to Southlake Carroll 59-16. He totaled three tackles.

Gunter S Colin Peacock‍ lost to Anna 55-28. He did not play, but he expects to be a full participant in practice this week and play on Friday.

Byron Nelson CB Leo Almanza‍ beat Lewisville 32-28. He scored three touchdowns, including the game-winner, with less than a minute to go.

Liberty Christian 2026 QB Quinn Murphy‍ lost to Texas High 52-35. He threw for 336 yards and four touchdowns on the night.

Southlake Carroll 2026 RB Davis Penn‍ beat Hebron 59-16. He ran for 69 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries. Penn also added one catch for 13 yards.

Honey Grove 2026 RB Ryelan Morris‍ beat Marlin 21-20. He finished with 72 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
