@WVU usually kills that dream. OSU is way ahead of us and ISU may be too.

And Kansas state, but we don't play them. But they will be in the conference championship

Sawyer had a solid game against them, 17 of 19 if memory serves.

Just saying we have never won at WVU, ever. It has been our Waterloo.

Correct. That's why I excluded them from our schedule this year. This weekend should tell us how we will perform from here on out as we probably will not face a better combo than Sanders.

That will change one of these days. Maybe in 2024.

Coming into this season, I never would have thought that if it weren't for Aranda's dumb decisions in the Utah game, we could have been undefeated right now

In my job I sometimes do projects at stadiums and I know there is a family of foxes living at Coors Field.

We were not beating Utah in Salt Lake City. That game was not in play after the 1st Quarter. The Utah D had the game in total control. We were down by 23 and didn't score a TD until the almost the 4th quarter. Avg 3.7 yards per play and completed 9 passes on the day. The D was spirited and put up a fight. BU kept it close after knocking rising out. But, we were NOT a couple of Aranda decisions from winning that game.

There is a reason Utah is one of the hardest places to win since 2011. I think they have 14 game win streak and are something like 54 - 19 since 2011. That game was a positive, but let's not make it into something it wasn't. I will be the first to criticize Aranda, but that was not one of those games. His D did a masterful job of keeping us in it once they got their legs. Sorry, see this game as a positive for Aranda.

I agree. Everyone is criticizing the 2pt conversion try and acting like it was a difference maker and it wasn't. We didn't get the game to within one possession, it never ended up mattering. Our offense was Cameron taking a screen all the way and a big Pendergrass run.

By the way, no shame in that loss. It was competitive, fought back, and I truly believe that the team learned what effort is required to compete. Lossing to Utah in Salt Lake will not hurt this team's final ranking, if we are that quality.

The only reason it might have mattered is momentum. A score, one or two point, could have fueled some positive momentum changing the outcome of the game somewhat. Yes, that is a stretch. The reality is that we never had much of a chance in SLC this year.

It wasnt about the 2 pt conversion as much as the stupidity of doing it at that time in the game. You dont did a potential hole for your team by doing something as Junior High as Aranda did. Just super poor coaching decision
