Here are my preliminary thoughts after watching Baylor vs. BYU yesterday.
Offense
- Sawyer magic is real. For most of the game, nearly the entire offense was Sawyer either hitting a quick throw or scrambling around and finding something downfield.
- That’s not usually a sustainable form of offense, but somehow Sawyer made it so.
- And he was doing so with zero rushing game. Baylor’s rushing attack is horrendous.
