We know Sawyer Robertson is one tough SOB with a ton of skills. We know that Dawson Pendergrass is one band son of a gun, and tough as nails. We know the Aranda is an extremely poor judge of who his best players are.

Glad we won this game, but hope it doesn't mean that we end up keeping a really poor coach. He is simply not Big 12 quality. This is a league that we can win repeatedly with the right coach.

That's back to back games with over 500 yards of offense. Thank you Sawyer, Pendergrass, Hawkins, and Spav.

We actually ended up catching up to Oklahoma State on penalty yardage and passing them.

The offensive line has quietly been pretty good the last couple weeks, especially in run blocking. It feels like the offense is coming together a lot better than the defense.

i take that back. later in the game it was better, but sawyer was getting BLOWN UP earlier in this game. watch the play he got hurt

Last year and the start of this year we've looked like the worst team in the conference.

Dave still has a lot of work to do....but as far down as we've been I'm not gonna be complaining after a win these days.

That is exactly where we are at. I think people need to get used to Aranda. He's not going anywhere anytime soon

100% agree. We should absolutely be aiming higher than 6-6 in our program. No one really knows…but we all assume 6-6 means he keeps his job for one more year....partly to retain what looks like a promising recruiting class.

I'm assuming though that doesn't mean 6-6 is the new goal going forward....hoping it's just a one year "pull this thing back out of the dumpster" goal....and show us some forward program momentum.

I don't think that's the ceiling. I think that's the acceptable floor for this particular season, when you take into account what we would theoretically be returning next year.

A bowl saves Aranda's job for now. But the goals go back to where they were pre-2023 after that.

TCU, WVU, UH and Kansas are our remaining games. Let's say we beat UH and Kansas and finish 6-6. If we win 3 of those we finish 7-5.

Losing to the best but beating the worst teams isn't a reason to bring him back.
