I agree. But he did throw for 2 TDs. He had a bad game because of the turnovers but not an atrocious one.

Tough call for me. Our momentum over a 5 game period is great. When looked at from one subpar game (still a win) then perhaps not. But the momentum from 5 wins in a row, is, to me a big deal.

That will be a completely different matchup.

Football is about matchups.

I agree we'll have to play well to win that one because Kansas is a good team playing really well. But I think that game will look completely different than this one. Our offense will look more like itself in that one. Unfortunately, so will our defense.

We lost those games last year, to Houston, to West Virginia, to Utah. And this year to Colorado and BYU. This is what a turnaround looks like: lose close, win close, win convincingly.

I felt sorry for the Baylor band and those sitting in that area by the scoreboard/PA speakers. That was the loudest stadium PA I can remember in a while and we were on the opposite 35 - 40 yard line from the band.

Other than that, enjoyed another win by the Bears!

At the end of the day, it was a great one!

I picked on Aranda earlier in the year, and I still think deservedly so, but he has come back with a vengeance, just to make me eat crow. I can live with that...

As I'm sitting here watching Pacific time zone games it just dawned on me that it's really gonna suck in future seasons against AZ, AZST, UTAH for night games at their place. I recall in 2022 against BYU it took everything I had to stay awake and that was only a 9 pm kick. Yes I'm old.

Gotta admit going into the season I thought 6-6 was the absolute ceiling and a long shot at best and after the first half of the season I was convinced we we weren't going to get to 4-8. What an unexpected turnaround!

1. Don't know why Fritz didn't use any of his 3 timeouts at the end of the 2nd quarter. Let 2 minutes burn off when we had 1st and goal.

2. Our kicker came up huge this game. Houston might have won without Shankins.

3. Houston's defense was good. They never got tired even after repeatedly getting run blocked and dealing with our RB's.
