Ten Things: Baylor Hosts Kansas

With the Bears still having a chance to make the Big 12 Championship Game and the red hot Jayhawks stand in their way. Here are at least ten things which stood out in the game.

  1. Did ESPN use back of scoreboard B-Roll from 2+ years ago during the intro? Not sure the announcers are even on site at this point
  2. Kansas helped Baylor a bit with the missed field goal
  3. This is looking like a track meet early with both defenses not doing much
  4. Baylor’s secondary, JACK, and STAR position in into the 4-6 deep territory due to injuries
  5. Great to see Baldwin getting these deep balls on Senior Day and he’s making KU pay
  6. Never thought I’d see Kaian Roberts-Day‍ at NT, but with all the injuries, he’s in there battling with Marshall and Wilson late in the first half
  7. Great opening drive by Baylor and that type just takes the wind out of the sails of an opponent. Physical, fast, and efficient
  8. That tackle on Robertson could have been bad
  9. Baylor has taken over and I’d almost say the KU defense has quit and they’re ready to hit the showers with 6:25 to go in the 3rd
  10. Kansas offense isn’t quitting and that was too easy of a drive for a touchdown
  11. Bryson Washington is just dominating the day
  12. Devyn Bobby with his second interception on the day should seal it with 14:00 to go in the 4th
  13. If you can’t trust Hankins, who can you trust?
  14. Rank the Bears

Great win for Baylor!
It's still kinda hard to believe we are 8-4. No one expected that in October or early November.

I can comprehend winning today. But the defense in the second half was outstanding!
