Three Things I Liked

  • Defensive effort in the first half and overtime, we put the screws down when we needed to.
  • Josh Ojianwuna (Jr.), where has this been? He’s been sensational since conference play started.
  • Great composure in OT. I thought Norchad Omier (5Sr.) and Jayden Nunn (Sr.) were steadying influences in the OT session.

Three Things I Didn’t Like

  • There were 16 turnovers to only nine assists, and the offensive flow was a bit rough. Credit ASU for some of that.
  • Turning down good shots and ending up with prayer shots at the end of the shot clock. I thought Nunn, Jeremy Roach (5Sr.) and Robert Wright (Fr.) were all guilty of this at times.
  • Roach’s shooting; it happens. He needs to keep his confidence high and fire away versus Arizona.
