Baylor (19-13) cements its NCAA Tournament resume with a 70-56 win over Kansas State (16-17). Jayden Nunn (Sr.) got the Bears going early, finishing with 18 points. Next up for Baylor is a quarterfinal game against Texas Tech on Thursday at 6 p.m. CST.

Good

  • Nunn was on fire (18 points, two blocks). Jeremy Roach (5Sr.) had a great floor game (9 points, five assists, zero turnovers)
  • Death, taxes, Norchad Omier (5Sr.) double-double. He had 12 points and 14 rebounds, but most impressively, zero turnovers.
  • Speaking of turnovers, 16 assists and six turnovers for Baylor. That’s a great number.
  • VJ Edgecombe (Fr.) continues to be special: 19 points and 10 rebounds. He could give the fanbase a March to remember.
  • It's the most complete game Baylor has played all year; keep it going. Great offense (1.15 points per possession), great defense (0.92 PPP), controlled the glass (37-32) and controlled the game.

Concerns

  • Nunn
