Jackson State wide receiver Isaiah Spencer is set to take an official visit to Baylor on Saturday and Sunday after being offered a week ago. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect posted 660 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore this past season. He helped lead Jackson State to an 11-2 record and a SWAC Championship.

He totaled 201 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman in 2023.

He averaged nearly 19 yards per reception last year and had numerous 40+ yard receptions. Whoever we buy to play the Hal/Ketron roleis going to get a bunch of single coverage deep balls. I'm a little surprised we haven't been able to land one of the bigger names yet, but I could see this player serving this role reasonably well (though it might turn out Taz is doing it more if he's 100% healthy and developing well).
