No what I'm saying is don't panic over a possible non conference loss.

Let's get better between Week 1 and 2

Maybe scheduling this type of game instead of Incarnate will help us down the line.

And focus on winning conference..which will get us there.

I agree…after just getting manhandled the last two series... that was at least a little positive to take away.

I'm not optimistic we have the ability to make a dent in conference play. Not with this effort. Very weak D line. Weak in every area really.

Jackson Arnold is still a **** passer...he hasn't hit anyone in stride and completions over 10+ yards have been due to great WRs making adjustment to the ball.

Lucky for him he hasn't needed to pass much since our defense has holes like swiss cheese.

That drive was shades of late season Sawyer and Spav. He let Sawyer get some confidence with those quick short passes, then you could almost see the light of confidence come on in Sawyer's eyes.

It's why you are graded on a season, not a game. Give Dave this year. If we were all fired after a 10 minute piece of our work we'd be done. And this is Big12 and not SEC or Big 10. Who's coming to Waco

We were never winning this game with the defense. Frankly they have done enough. Leaving 3 points on field and up the middle about 5 questionable times hurts. Leaving the defense on the field hasn't helped either. Hopefully all will be sorted out.

See. I'll never understand coaches. All you need to do is call the touchdown play and it works. They make this way too difficult.
