As someone who remembers watching his dad, it's cool seeing Dossett catch a pass in a Baylor uniform.

On depth chart there's always been an 'OR' between their names so not surprising.

I was hoping we'd have enough second-half possessions to get all of the QBs some work today, but alas ...

I just assumed they did that to keep everyone happy. I assumed (and apparently now falsely) that White was much further along than what he must be. Guess I should have joined the pay side and I would have known! ha

We did but Aranda made some really bad choices by keeping his starters in and risking their health. Not smart whatsoever

Bennet with a little side arm motion but not as bad as Arch though.

He really keeps his throws low, SO FAR. Great for not getting a pick, but they really have to lift them off the carpet with very little expectation to get any more yardage

I disagree.

Sending a message to the starters, who will play a much larger role in our success this season, was more important.

And I'd be ripping their asses in the locker room after this game, too. Their no-show cost their teammates opportunities today. That's on them.

And I disagree with you. That would be silly. Punish your starters by risking their health in a game you have won. That's my view as a former college football player on two National Championship teams. I do have a smidgen of experience

I didn't understand why Spav was hesitant to allow Sawyer to use his legs even when we had open lanes in the Auburn game, but now I think I get it. We truly don't have anyone ready in the event Sawyer goes down.

Turner looks good. I wouldn't be surprised to see him overtake Knighten as the No. 2 guy before this season is over.

Seems weird to feel at least somewhat disappointed after a 42-7 win, but I am. OLine never really dominated the weakest DLine they're going to face all season and Robertson had a terrible game. Way too many broken tackles by our D against the weakest O they're going to play all season. Won the 2nd half by only 7-0 and didn't get to play the reserves near as much as hoped while getting a bunch of timely breaks along the way. Bottom line it's a taking care of biz W, but I was really hoping for more.

As I see it, the bright side of all this is that maybe the team worked out all their issues and will be better for it next week and going forward. For example, if Sawyer is going to have a bad game this season I would rather it be today than next week or in Ft Worth.

Then again, maybe I'm grasping at straws.

Some of those throws were downright horrible in the first half. Great pocket and he throws it into the dirt.

On the other hand, if he comes out strong against Arizona State, who knows

Seems like I remember hearing similar quotes last year in the first half of the season.

Before the season started he said he was really impressed with the player leadership he was seeing. Hopefully those player leaders get really vocal.

Does he not see motivation as one of the responsibilities of his job as a head coach?

I agree, but to be honest, we were never going to win enough games this year to make that happen

But probably more importantly than that, it doesn't seem like he's going to utilize his mobility enough to have those wow plays that Heisman voters want to see. I think just putting up big stats in the big 12 as a quarterback isn't enough of a eye opener by itself

Y'all are pretty ridiculous. We have won 10 of our last 16 games. More specifically 8 of our last 10. He knows what he is doing and ignoring facts just to attack the guy who is doing one of the better jobs as a Baylor coach over the past 10-15 games historically than almost all of his predecessors right now over a similar span of games says more about those of you who enjoy that than Aranda and staff and the state of our program.

I remember hearing it about that Long Island team back in 2023. I remember, because I was at the game, and you could tell that no one wanted to be there. The weather also stank that day, to be fair

Energy has perpetually been a problem with Aranda

Tarlyton, AF, TT, OSU, TCU (bearly), WVA,UH and KU. That ain't saying much but if you countvwins. Ok. It will never get recognition. . We were the best of the worst

If you want to count wins??? Um…that is the bottom line. We play the schedule we have and play in the conference we are in. Aranda can't schedule a b10 schedule for you and you can't call for his firing because he can't. . But wins are what every other head coach is judged by.

Well I suppose call Mack and demand we join the B10 or SEC if you don't like our conference schedule and see how far that conversation goes. But Aranda has no control over who our conference mates are. My personal view is that the XII is a pretty good conference it beats almost every other alternative except 2.

Blake Shapen is on fire again for Bulldogs. Granted the opposition isn't great but 75 yard TD's are regardless
