LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Baylor men’s basketball (4-0) will continue the Players Era Festival against the No. 14 St. John’s Red Storm (3-2) on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 3:30 p.m. CT, at Michelob Ultra Arena. The game will be televised on TruTV.

Any update on J J White's condition? He left yesterday's game in the first half with some kind of a foot injury and I noticed he isn't listed as an available bench rotation player for this game.

The difference in the quality of the shots taken is extreme.

We've actually gotten off 10 more shots than they have (21-11), and lead in rebounds so we're not backing off. They've just been much more efficient than us.

Rough start, obviously. But they're not going to shoot this well and we're not going to shoot this poorly all game.

If we can stabilize things by halftime, we'll have a chance. If we can't, it's probably headed for a blowout.

The biggest problem early is we couldn't make a damn shot, so they were killing us in transition before we could set our defense.

First time we've run into a team as or more athletic as us so probably a little culture shock the first 6 or so minutes. Settling down now and starting to play more within a comfort level.

I think those two things go hand in hand against St. John's because they will beat you down the court off misses.

A bunch of their early 3s were opened up that way.

For those who weren't watching, kudos to Williams. I kinda felt his aggressiveness and couple of buckets is what turned it for us and got us to settle down.

Tounde needs to learn to take the ball all the way to the basket. One more dribble on those drives and he can finish much more under control.

I love this team. They don't get phased at all by early struggles. They just keep playing and competing. The past three teams could have learned a lot from this group in that regard.
