I traveled to Waco for National Signing Day and was able to jot down some notes after speaking with head coach Dave Aranda about the 2026 recruiting class, the transfer portal outlook and other changes inside the program.

As a sidenote, we’ll have the full video from Aranda’s Signing Day presser-film evaluation up later, and I’ll give my full thoughts on the 2026 recruiting class in the coming days.

I'm sure the first thing Dave did was to Thank everyone who showed up. You all can spin the rankings all you want but it's a lame duck coach heading into a lame duck season.

It would not surprise me if Vegas sets the over/under total wins for Baylor in 2026 at 4 (maybe 5).

Zero confidence in ability to use portal to fill all the gaps we need.
