Baylor (6-2) goes cold down the stretch and loses to Memphis (4-4) 78-71 in their first road game of the season. Tounde Yessoufou scored 22 points for the Bears in a losing effort.
Positives
- Early on, the Bears looked like they were headed for 30 turnovers. They ended up with 13, but four of those were late. There seemed to be a 35-minute stretch in which they turned the ball over only four times.
- Baylor out-rebounded a longer Memphis team 45-44.
