Former Four-Star QB Walker White to Enter Transfer Portal After 1 Season at Baylor
Baylor rising redshirt sophomore quarterback Walker White plans to enter the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
In his lone season in Waco, White never took a snap and was the third-string quarterback behind Sawyer Robertson and Nate Bennett. White transferred to Baylor from Auburn last offseason.
White was a consensus four-star prospect and top 100 recruit in the 2024 class, and ultimately chose Auburn over Baylor and Clemson out of Little Rock Christian Academy. White redshirted the 2024 season at Auburn, only seeing time in a blowout win over UL Monroe.
During his high school career, White threw for 6,740 yards, 80 touchdowns and 26 interceptions while completing 56.7% of his passes. He also added 1,842 yards and 30 touchdowns on the ground.
The transfer portal window this offseason runs from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16.
