Baylor rising redshirt senior offensive lineman Coleton Price will enter the transfer portal, according to SicEm365’s Grayson Grundhoefer.
Price has been Baylor’s starting center for the past three seasons and has totaled 30 starts in his career. He allowed just six pressures in 842 snaps this season and earned the second-best run-blocking grade (69.5) and the best pass-blocking grade (84) on the team, according to PFF.
Price was a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class out of Bowie High School; he was ranked as the No. 20 offensive guard by ESPN.
The 6-foot-3, 318-pound Price becomes the second starting offensive lineman to leave via the transfer portal, joining left tackle Sean Thompkins, while starting guards Ryan Lengyel and Omar Aigbedion are both out of eligibility.
Under first-year offensive line coach Austin Woods, the Bears will have to completely reshape how they look up front. It’s expected that Kaden (right tackle) and Koltin Sieracki (center) will return.
