I think it is just unfortunately the wave of the future. Recently primetime Saturday NFL games were on streaming networks. One of the NFL wildcard playoff games on Saturday will be on Amazon.

It really sucks how splintered everything is with sports programming… the consumer continues to take it in the shorts.

We used to get good ratings. Our game v KU used to be one of the biggest rating games in the conference each year. Its to push additional subscribers.. I think the game Saturday is also on it unfortunately.

For the game, Iowa St has the best win in college basketball this year (blowing out a very good Purdue team on the road). Will be a close to impossible here. Hoping the two mid major transfers can show some sort of improvement. Good experience for Naiji who just needs more minutes.

They have a good blend of experience, continuity, and pro talent. Think Jefferson is probably the best player in the league.. especially since Peterson at KU is trying his best to top Cryer/Love for strangest injury situation I've seen in a long time.

So far, we are really battling on the defensive end. Don't know how much of it is due to Lipsey hardly playing, but defense hasn't been the problem so far. Gotta hit some shots.

Losing Rataj with his 3rd foul really hurts.

Completely snake bit on shot attempts. 5 have been in and out. Officiating a little uneven (didn't see the beginning when Iowa St already had 4). ISU should be at 8 or 9 now.

Nnaji is completely confused out there. His rebouding positioning has also been bad. But when he is roaming, they aren't scoring on paint attempts.

We haven't looked very good offensively tonight, but this is the best we've defended in a long time. Maybe all season.

We clearly came in with the goal of matching their intensity. And we have. That's really encouraging.

Absolutely brain dead TOs during critical momentum turning points.. poor FT shooting at important moments. One consistent thing about this program the last several years, great at fumbling momentum with bad execution. Should be up 10. Terrible
